A must see - learn the history of the first American gold rush - more than a decade before California's "49-ers!" Make sure you see the gold flakes in the bricks. Reasonable admission fee
This was an educational stop for us. It is a great way to learn about Dahlonega's gold history. They have some fascinating items on display and it was a great way to escape the heat. It's in the middle of the town and so it's convenient to everything. The only disappointing part of it was staff was hard to get... 更多
great place to stop in to get out of the heat and learn something about the history of Dahlonega and gold mining. Worth the $7 fee.
The museum has a lot of great items but the staff was not very helpful. We paid and the staff told us a few things about the place while three people just walked in without paying. We were informed of a film but not when it started. We only found out by walking upstairs and hearing it. Very disappointing but... 更多

Brought our 2 children here. The video was interesting and useful to all of us but the rest of the 'museum' was pretty lacking. Can't say I recommend this place.
