So located in Williston, Florida this place is Must See!!! Especially now! I was told to arrive at about 07:30 just to be sure we get a spot to be able to snorkel! Needless to say I was there at that early. As it turns out, this time of year although there are plenty of people there. It's not like... 更多
My lady and I drove here on a whim and were mesmerized by the site. I scuba while she snorkeled. It is not worth scuba. But the view and the snorkeling are so worth the time. A very cheap $15. If you are anywhere near north Florida you would be loosing out on a once-in-a-lifer not to go.
Wow what a experience! Recommend to anyone who needs a little getaway. The water was crystal clear and so refreshing. I do recommend for anyone who owns their own snorkel gear to bring it because it does get full and you'll have to wait. Also I only recommend coming during warmer weather because water is cold even on warm days.
Waste of time. Devils den looks really cool online but once you get down in the cave there's nothing to see. We went snorkeling and it was super dark and there are no fish. Maybe scuba diving is better? We stayed in a cabin over night and that was nice but there is nothing else to do there. No trails.... 更多
This was my second time I visited this amazing place. Simply great ! Visibility always 100+ and water around 70s Make sure to come during week as weekends tend to get really packed. ~PADI Divemaster
Although I have seen the stunning pictures of this place online, I have never gone here until my husband and I decided it was finnally time to get our dive certification. Honestly it is stunning BUT very crowded and busy. Do not expect the serine empty spring from pinterest. It is crowded once you make your decent into the spring... 更多
Devil's Den is another must do for all divers. The Den is a subterranean sink hole with a "skylight". The cool 72 deg water is provided by the aquifer and varies in depth depending on recent rain fall amounts. The underwater terrain is a circular "track" sloping from the center down to the edges and averages about 45'-55' at its... 更多
The accommodations at Devl's Den were filthy. The "newly renovated" home had plumbing that was age old and appeared never cleaned. We didn't use the shower because it was inhabited by roaches. The kitchen was equally dirty and old fashioned. There was a layer of dust mixed with dead insects on most surfaces. There was a dead roach in the... 更多
Went to do some thing different. The park area around the waterhole is very unkept, The water outside was stagnant and green. Did not look for appealing to enter the water. Waited more than 1 hour on a week day after FL residence went back to school. We have done snorkeling in the Caribbean right off the beach and you... 更多
BE CAREFUL WITH THE "SCUBA LESSONS" OFERED ON SITE (scuba lessons jax). They will say whatever they have to say to get you signed in. Whatever happens after is entirely your problem. Other than that it is a good spot to check out and snorkel solo or with friends.
