Walking paths, throughout the grounds, make for a very relaxing walk, and time to commune with nature. IT is a hidden gem in the city, but gives good viibes when you commune with mother nature.
This is a very small area, that wild life gets so little room for birds and reptiles to make it their home. I am so sickened by the way they are building all around this wetland very little protection for the wildlife. Its very pretty , It is on Northlake Blvd and its very busy with cars going by. I... 更多
Took family here one recent morning. The four year old wasn't too excited about it. The seven year old liked the boardwalk and the different things to see. I have been here and have seen few animals and at other times I have seen several, from snail kites to roseate spoonbills and alligators. Good for the nature lover. And it... 更多
I love the nature views here. The grassy waters, I believe are a part of the everglades park system and the lungs of Florida. I never tire of the beautiful water and sky views. It is far west of town, so a car is necessary. Take and hour or two to enjoy the walks and views.
I took my sister-in-law who was visiting from Denver so she could enjoy Florida's nature and wildlife. Sadly, we didn't see much wildlife (1 wading bird and that was it!). I see more creatures around a lake in the center of town. On the positive side, the boardwalks made for a nice walk.
This is a nice park. There is some highway noise at the beginning, but that fades away after you start walking down the path. The path is an elevated wooden walkway. It is completely handicap accessible. Right off the bat, we saw a 13 ft male alligator. Per the park employee, he likes living in the deeper channel by the... 更多
This is another of our wonderful open spaces maintained by the state. How lucky to have so many public places to enjoy. I like the view of the water as I hike on the trail. I didn't see much wild life but enjoyed the walk, especially the parts in the shade of trees. Scenic, beautiful
Grassy Waters is a must see place. It is a very unique natural area and shows the exquisite beauty of Florida. There are wonderful boardwalks that allow the visitors to walk deep into the grassy waters. This is the water catchment area for Palm Beach County. I use to go airboat riding with my father in this place in the... 更多
Free admission and parking! Open about 9-5 most days. Great place for families and couples like us. Mostly handicapped accessible. 3 mixed use toilets. We really enjoyed about an hour of pure Old Florida nature. Surprisingly shady with scattered spots of sheltered rocking chairs. Lots of wildlife!
