Very pleasant walk to the observation deck. Nice views, easily accessible by car or bike. Historically a significant place and the walk to the observation deck is graced by the other National Wildlife Regues throughout the country. Jungle Trail adjacent for folks like myself who pedal often. Also launched our kayaks within the Refuge.
there is a nice walk to the observation area and a couple of high powered binoculars for viewing. The observation area is covered so we were protected from the rain. There weren't many pelicans to view when it was cold and raining, but many when we went last year during a very hot day.
Pelican Island is Florida what is should be. Lovely Pelicans but many more animals from Florida and Great to visit.... 更多
