Many shells, not crowded at all when we went in July. Water amazing. Fish swimming all around you. There is a little market close to the beach where you can buy a foam cooler, ice, drinks and snacks for the day.
It was our first time on Venice Municipal Beach and it was so relaxing. While there were people there, it wasn't overcrowded. The water was so cool and refreshing, but the best part the water was waist deep out quite a ways from the shore. The waves were gentle and my little one enjoyed playing in the surf.
We went here looking for shark teeth. We didn't find any, but we found some nice shells. The beach wasn't crowded and the water was beautiful. Some sections had some seaweed, but I definitely recommend visiting. Also, parking was not a problem.
What a fun day at the beach this turned out to be. I love people watching, it was loads of fun seeing all ages sifting the sand for those fossil shark teeth. After just a few hours, I couldn't help but join the fun myself. I didn't find a treasure, but I did have fun watching the dolphins close to...
After having visited Caspersen Beach, Venice Beach looks a bit ugly...
