Many flowers are in full bloom now because of the mild winter Florida is having. We saw Camilla japonicas that were not only solid colors (pink, red, white) but also striped colors and even branches with two different color blooms growing side by side. There is a pond and a reflecting pool to enhance contemplation. The Maclay house is open... 更多
Slap bang in the middle of Tallahassee these stunning gardens and grounds make for a gorgeous and quiet family afternoon. Great history, a beautiful lake and ponds, and the most glorious trees and other flora for miles around. Nature trails abound and plenty of space for the kids to run off excess energy. Despite its super close proximity to restaurants... 更多
In February, the gardens are in full bloom with beautiful flowering shrubs. Even without the gardens, it is such a lovely park. We hike on the wonderfully maintained trails. Lake Hall is always a pretty place, whether you drive to it or hike beside it. We hear and see wildlife often on our walks. It is a non-commercial, natural get... 更多

As it's called a garden December is probably not the best time to visit. But we had family here and thought it would be a good place for a photo shoot so my granddaughter and I took... 更多
A beautiful setting for a walk, to admire the vegetation - especially the camellias in December - and swim in the warmer months.
