I like old style Southern Buildings, This is one of them. The outside is really beautiful, the inside has a lot of artifacts, but not that interesting.
A small museum with some artifacts of history. Interesting the house was occupied after the Civil War. Very close to the Capitol, once occupied by a high ranking State of Florida official. Known as the House That Rhymes due to Mrs. Knott's love of verse. If this house could talk it would tell a Beautiful Old Story of Tallahassee and... 更多
Tours are free to the public....The Knott House is an 1840's home decorated in the Victorian era....with 1900's furnishings original to the home when occupied by the Knott family. Very Interesting and the tour director was very knowledgeable.
My daughters have enjoyed attending poetry camp the last couple of summers. Mrs. Knott was certainly a character with her kerosene lamps and exercise bike. You have got to hear the story about the wallpaper.
Each and every year during Emancipation Week we visit from CT and attend the Knott House program. The program with the Emancipation re-enactment is a true historic event brought to life and each and every year I learn something new while attending this event. The fact that this programs also includes the community and allows African Americans to participate and... 更多

We had a very informative tour with our guide, Bea – who loves the house and Mrs. Knott’s poetry -- found everywhere around the house. Even though the stairs were difficult for Bea, she gave us a “private... 更多
Had an informative tour. Great to see how people lived and hear about their daily lives. Loved the fact that there might be a ghost there.

Our group of schoolkids had a hands on class w/a wonderful instructor...good bit of history with archeology/anthropology slant. Lots to see (don't touch!) and volunteer who gave us a tour wore her white gloves altho... 更多
