Very quiet and serene setting. Several display type monuments, a newer outdoor auditorium. Easy access and was not crowded. No fees!

This is a wonderful place...serene and beautiful. It is a relatively new cemetery, kept in immaculate condition. We are pleased that this is the resting place for our relative and so many others who represented our country.
My uncle and my father are buried here. I was honored to see memorials depicting the battles our fallen heroes fought in. I thought this was just a cemetery with grave sights, but it's much much more. Take your family to see the memorials - it's free and, moreover, rewarding!
For a relatively new national cemetery, this one is very inspiring in how it was constructed. The center of the cemetery offers a 2,800 seat amphitheater in which events occur frequently, from arts and culture to private events. This is one of the larger national cemeteries in the state, and is worth a visit if that's your thing.
This is one of the most serene places I have ever visited. When you visit this final resting place for our fallen military you can feel the peace and tranquility here. When you hear taps being played it brings a tear to your eye knowing that someone earned the right to be buried here.
The Sarasota National Cemetery is beautiful and serene. It's located in a quiet part of the county and makes great use of local marshlands as a buffer from homes and businesses.
