These are amateurs but there are some skiers that have been professional. The Ski-A-Rees pass a bucket for donations, auction off a seat in one of the boats, and sell T-shirts, drinks, candy, pretty much whatever they can think of to raise funds for their equipment, showplace, and competitions. The members pay dues too. It was an enjoyable half hr... 更多
Whenever I get a chance , I always drop by the city island and watch them perform. Luv it and lots of fun! They are all talented! and I love them all♥ The pictures I will use on this review were taken few months ago.
I took my husband here because he said that we had done everything there is to see after coming to this area for years. We were both entertained by the ski show. They provide bleacher seating and do have beverages for sale. There is a range of ages of the skiers from small children to older adults and all were... 更多
We stumbled upon this Ski Team on a visit to Sarasota last Winter... WOW! Don't miss this awesome group perform! We were so impressed with the talent, we went back this Summer, just for the Southeastern Regional Show Ski Competition. The Ski a Rees put on the best show imaginable. They were unbelievable! Our family and extended family attended and... 更多
We went here in March, although they are only 'practicing' the show is free and great fun for the family! I suggest arriving at least 30-45 min before the show starts, as parking is limited and the bleachers fill up. It is cool to see the experienced skiiers and the rookies working together on their show, they are definitely talented... 更多
I have been to this show 3 times now, and have loved it each time. The skiers are a variety of ages, all in costume and very talented. They do pyramids, ski around the boat, and sometimes start and end on land! The show is free, but they ask for donations. Plan to donate - it's well worth it! There... 更多
In February through May (I think it's May), Ski-A-Rees puts on a wonderful water ski show near the Mote Aquarium in Sarasota. I have seen many shows, including the ones on Lake Monona in Madison, WI, and the Tommy Barlett Ski Show in Wisconsin Dells, among others. We went last Sunday and the place was packed!! Be sure you donate... 更多
The Ski-A-Rees Water Ski Show is a free event put on every Sunday from Mid February to early May. It may be free but there is no lack of professionalism and talent of the mostly young skiers. The event lasts a little over an hour. It started on time and moved quickly from event to event. There were three sets... 更多
We paired the Ski-A-Rees with a visit to Mote Aquarium. The show was fantastic. Our family thoroughly enjoyed it. We packed a picnic lunch, found a shady tree, and ate while watching the fun. It is definitely on our list of things to do again.
