We stopped here to see where my wife had lived for a number of years it was a nice day to start with and we left before the rain came in, this happened while we were driving along long boat key.
Away from the maddening crowds of Siesta Lido is a delightful, uncrowded beach just off St. Armonds. Nice snack bar and the beach is small and never crowded The tourists don't know of this place SHHHH
A wonderful place to stay and visit. Truly paradise. Any picture you take will look like a post card. Very peaceful and quiet beach. You do not have to fight for a spot on the sand.
Went to see a sunset, but with approaching tropical weather off the coast of Florida, it wasn't possible on this trip. Usually agreat place for awesome sunsets.
There is excellent public access to most parts of Lido Beach. It is actually large enough that there is a North and a South beach. The North is in a area where there are a lot of houses and condos. A week at lido in August is hot but we like the lack of crowds, clear calm water, and clean beaches- We prefer natural beaches and were surprised at the lack of trash commonly found at public beaches. Sand was fine grained an comfortable underfoot. Plenty of parking This is more of a family beach than anything else Wish dogs... 更多
If you enjoy overcrowded beaches, hour long ventures to find parking, limited space then this is the beach for you. If your lucky enough to find a space and aren't claustrophobic then you might just enjoy your stay otherwise I wouldn't recommend to even my worst enemy.
