This park has miles of beautiful beaches. There are nice boardwalks to access the beach and several places with covered areas and picnic tables. A boat launch and kayak rentals.
A hidden jem on the gulf coast of Florida. The beach was almost deserted after Christmas, just a few guests were taking advantage of it. Plenty of areas to cookout and picnic for groups or families. We visited in July 2016. We stayed at the campground in a 35 ft travel trailer. It's unusual to have such a nice campground at a state park! The sites were lined with trees. The bathhouses were very neat. Our site was within walking distance to the beach. We brought our own kayaks, put them into the bay, then ended... 更多
Beautiful views of the gulf and the bay, numerous fishing spots, hiking trails, and camping. Two or three beach access spots, with the last one I know having wheelchair access to restrooms and beach walk. Last beach access has one Pepsi drink machine but no snack vending. Unsure of others. We have visited this park twice, always in the fall or winter. The beaches are beautiful and there are not too many people around. You can walk for miles and enjoy the shore birds and solitude. The protected waters are good for kayaking, you can bike on the main road and there is not much traffic, and of course hike... 更多
Beautiful location with a nice beach and clean walking paths. We walked to one of the primitive campsites and what we found was very primitive and very authentic. Pure nature, something to try for people who dare spending a night without any facility around and quite far from the closest ones.
