I recently spent several days in St. Augustine's for the holidays. Unfortunately the temperature was not in our favor, so after returning to our hotel the Casa Monica to put on some warm clothes...we set out to discover a quaint, but beautiful city nestled along a body of water. We stopped at an art gallery and then entered a shop... 更多
The village is a quaint neat walking are with plenty of bars and places to eat and relax with friends. Love the city and dished I had a bunglalow there!
I loved the old buildings. How on earth are they still standing? Just amazing. A great day out and definately a must see for tourists who are not interested in roller coasters.
Very nice way that they have preserved lots of the old buildings. If you're a history buff like myself, this is a "Must See". Go ahead and give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
I see that lots of people like this place but it is just too crowded on weekends and if you go in the summer time be careful you could have a heat stroke walking around Saint Augustine. The heat and humidity are terrible.
The area was beautiful and friendly. I would have preferred that it didn't allow pets though. It was an ungodly hot day and there were so many suffering dogs on leashes. I would have liked to make their owners walk barefoot on the streets while being yanked around all the pedestrians.
