We chose to do the Oldest Store Museum to pass a little time before we left town. It's set up like the Old Jail Museum in that the tour guides are in period dress and character and interact as if you're a customer back in the day. Our store keeper guide was Lester who did a great job of showing... 更多
We got the free access as part of the trolley tour and it was interesting stepping back in time to see how things were many years ago. The attendants and tour guide are the ones that make the visit interesting. If you are trying to see the way people lived and worked during the time of Henry Flagler this gives... 更多
The guide conducts the tour in character and guides you through an old time genaral store. It's very interesting and full of interesting historical facts. Kid friendly and inexpensive.
A fantastic place with so much stuff from medicine to hardware to corn husker machine, milk shake macine and coffee machine. The back area has tons of equipment like bicycle with big wheel and washing machines that goats run by walking on incline. Unique. The tour guides are great Daisy Jane and Annie and dressed the part too.
Visited this place as part of our trolley ticket package. It is brilliant! The guides are knowledgeable and funny, it was really interesting to "step back in time" and visit the old store. Loved seeing all the "new" products which we still have and take for granted these days. Definitely worth a visit
Included with our trolley tour package otherwise we wouldn't have gone. Not worth it if you have to pay for it but worth visiting if it comes in your trolley package. The theatrical tour wasn't my cup of tea but the young kids on the tour seemed to enjoy that aspect.
There is a lot on display and is very interesting. The antique collection of appliances, utensils, tools, furniture, etc. makes a fun half hour or so.
