I live about 2 hours away and we make several trips a year. It's a cheap affordable place to visit to cool off when it's a 100+ outside. The bathhouse is kept really clean and is spacious and not a far walk to the spring at all. Definitely get there as early as possible, it tends to fill up fast... 更多
We decided to branch out of our local area and try some of the springs that were in driving distance from our home. This spring is truly lovely and if you go during the week not crowded at all! The "pool" is very large and deep. There is a diving platform and a great stair area for both the: "I... 更多
this is a beautiful natural spring. Very cold water for swimming. No camping or fishing but really nice for a birthday or family get together. They have pavilions with grills and volleyball court. It does cost to get in. I believe it is $6.00 per car load. Rather small park which can be intimate on the off season and very... 更多
We went on a Saturday. The water is beautiful to look at. It is chili when you first get it, but I recommend just going under the water. Just shock your system and get it over with. We saw tons of fish a little turtle movement. There were quite a few people at the park so the turtles decided to... 更多
This was a really neat place. We were there for a birthday party and young and old alike had a great time. The water felt great on that hot summer day. Some of us played volleyball. We will definitely be going back.
Easy stop to take a break on way to the beach. Arrived on a Thursday afternoon. Not crowded and easy to change in bath houses. Water was cold and clear. It was a hot day so if felt good and refreshing. We walked the trail and stayed maybe 90 minutes.
Our daughter who lives in Panama City Beach loves Florida's state parks and wanted us to see this underground spring that has been made into a swimming area. We loved swimming and diving into the fresh and crystal clear 68 degree water on what was a hot day. We also followed the trail to where this fresh water met the... 更多
If you passing through the area, definitely make plans to stop in for a dip on a hot day! A unique experience for the family. The water was chilly but BEAUTIFUL, bring your mask and snorkel. If it's a holiday or weekend prepare for a big crowd. But worth your time!
This state park is amazing. The water is crystal clear. You can see the sandy bottom even in 5 plus feet of water. There are shallow and deep places. Great place for the whole family. The water is a constant 68 degrees as promised. So make sure to go on a hot day.
