This is a very nice state park lots of woods lots of wildlife lots of water kayaking canoeing fishing hiking winter time you don't need mosquito spray it's nice and cool very primitive camping very nice ---!for those also have some hookups for RVs it's very busy Reserve ahead of time for those who like Wilderness Woods camping real camping
A very pretty Florida state park on the Halifax river. We walked down to the beach & a manatee put on a show for us. He was in shallow water & we have great photos of him.

We just did a drive around. Amazing tree, Indian Statue, views. Wow. If you are a camper this park is for you if you want "your own space". Lot of foliage between camp sights. They have water and electric hookups. Bumpy road since not paved but keeps speeders down. Lots of bathhouses for usage. Very quiet.
