Spent 90+ minutes wandering round using the map provided. Beautiful gardens, very well maintained and extremely well labelled. Many plants in flower - I don't understand previous review saying flowers disappointing, plants flower when they flower and most things except the Camellias were out mid May. Brief tour of the house (of which this was the garden) included -well worth... 更多
Beautiful garden but BAD service. The walk-through guy misled us about that we can have our wedding indoor (even with a good weather) as long as we let them know ahead of time. So we emailed Debbie Sauls about having the wedding indoor. 1.5hour before my wedding, Leu Garden told me my wedding was gonna be outdoor. We had to... 更多
My wife and I spent about 90 minutes going through these gardens in the afternoon. It closes at 5 PM. I love "old original Florida" places and this is definitely pristine original Florida. Took some outstanding photos, as good as on post cards. We were disappointed when we got to the lake overlook. It looks like it has been closed... 更多
We were looking for a place to take my boyfriend's 89 year old mom who had limited mobility. So I found Harry P. Leu Gardens. Though we missed the free first Mondays, we still thought the $10 admission was reasonable. The place was easy to find and parking was aplenty. We were able to bring in our own wheelchair. (Wheelchairs... 更多
Have heard so much about this place that I thought I should visit. Overall, this was a nice place for a stroll. The plants and trees were great, though I was disappointed with the flowers. Perhaps it was the time of the year, but not many flowers were blooming. Even those flowers that were here were not spectacular; the plants... 更多
Happened upon this gem and what a surprise. If you enjoy Botanical Gardens then you will certainly enjoy walking through the Harry P. Leu Gardens, especially if you are from "up North". The trees, including the old Live Oaks are magnificent and beyond belief. There are so many trees and plants that only grow in the south that it made... 更多
Just a 30 minute drive away from the Disney area is this garden which has the most amazing plants and view. You can just sit near the lake or wander around and see the rose garden, the wedding site or just walk around and encounter exotic trees like the sausage tree.
We really enjoyed our day at the garden. Very well done, The hot dog stand there was the best hot dog I ever ate. There is probably every Florida flower there. All looked beautiful and very well kept up.
While visiting a friend in Orlando, he took me to this venue. We got in for free due the venue holding its Plant Sale Day. Mostly everything was in bloom and there was plenty of photo opportunities. There is a nice lake that you can have a picnic lunch by while looking at the wild life that surrounds the lake,... 更多
This place is absolutely stunning. My love for historical homes grew when I visited the Leu house. My trip was made perfect by the ADORABLE older lady who is a tour guide, I believe she said that she is 93 or 96 and is the longest running volunteer. She made jokes with everyone and recited the historical information perfectly and... 更多
We come every time we visit Orlando. We get reciprocity with our own city membership. The grounds are always meticulous. Make sure to visit the house on the grounds.
It's easy to stay in Leu Gardens a lot longer than your originally planned. This is because there seems to be a surprise around every corner that makes you want to linger and enjoy. Plants of every variety. Flowers, shrubs, cacti, magnificent trees, oaks, palms..you name it, it is probably here. A nice meandering trail connects all of this beauty... 更多
