I could go on and on about the sunsets...different every day and so delightful to watch, but the beach is beautiful, surrounded by good restaurants, general stores here and there, and not much parking. We loved watching the dolphins, about 300 estimated to live in the area. The sand is soft and clean. Waves are soft and gentle, especially good... 更多
The sand is ground up shells tiny particles of black, grey, and white. Deep sand, shells then hard packed sand as you get closer to the water. Not the prettiest I've seen but the most interesting! Birds, crabs, jellies, dolphin's, fisherman !!!!!
This beach is great-has some shells but a lot of sand so does not hurt your feet as much as beaches on Sanibel. There is plenty of sand for kids to play in/with. It is a perfect place to watch sunsets.
