The dog beach was lovely and clean. Perfect for us. We went later in the day so it was almost empty. Lovely sand bars clean and warm water.
We happened upon this spot by accident and wow! We rented a golf cart and drove from our hotel further down the beach and I wish we had done it sooner! It's right across from the Ponce Inlet lighthouse, it's just a beautiful place to explore or sit and watch the waves.
This place is just a piece of paradise, there are bathrooms and places outside to rinse off and the staff there is super dog friendly, dog bowls out for water as well as poop bags along the main path. Be prepared to walk and it costs between 5 &10 dollars depending on if you are a volusia passholder.
Great place to let your dog have fun. Just watch the time of day and bring a shade umbrella and lots water for your fur friends. For an older dog like ours that has bad hips we have a wagon for her since the walk is very long out to the beach. The water is great therapy for them. Bring... 更多

My brother in law and I walked this walk a few times during my stay in June. We walked to the dog area then along the beach until we got to the last boardwalk then back again. Good for you as long as you pace yourself in the hot weather. Unfortunately for the some of the dogs, a husky in... 更多
I learned the hard way.. my suggestion is to Keep your dog at home in the air conditioning if the temperature is over 80 degrees or the sun is intense. The dogs can't drink salt water and they can't take off their hot coats and they are at the mercy of their owners. I've seen several dogs collapse and have... 更多
