Go in on the plathe road entrance and the kayak launch is down at the circle. Great drop in point to float down the park on the cotee river. You can paddle down to the end of the park and turn around an paddle back to the launch. 2 hr trip and lots to see.
We look for the turtles crossing the road when we drive in & out...so much fun for the kids to see.....playground is great for little ones.....Educational signs to read...nice relaxing place to walk around !!

Outstanding park, a hidden gem. Great hiking trails along the Cotee River and a great Kayak Launch as well. Well kept, quiet, and peaceful setting.
There are several very nice aspects to this park. One, few people know about it. Two, you can take a group out, and grab a pavilion. It's a nice spot for 1,2,or 15. It's also waterfront with a beautiful boardwalk.
This park has a boardwalk that takes you through the jungle and along the Cowie River. At times there are a lot of tortoise walking around.

Now that they have paved the road, that is a HUGE improvement in regard to... 更多
