During my wife and my recent vacation to Naples, we had occasion to go to the Holocaust Museum and Education Center. We had a fabulous dosun named Stu (We highly recommend that if you visit this museum, you should plan to go on one of the two tours during the day--1:00 and 2:30 pm). At the beginning of the tour,... 更多
This museum is more than just education, the materials are thought provoking and deliver an important message.....not a glorious part of history other than the bravery and tenacity of the victims, but a story we must never forget.
I am not Jewish, but I am a Civil Rights activist so I approached this museum with a fair degree of curiosity. Our docent taught me so much more than the typical history book! It's well worth your time.

we were there for an afternoon tour. The Docent that provided the tour was VERY knowledgeable and passionate. The experience was very moving and left us in tears,
The Holocaust Museum was started in 1998 as a school project and has grown into this treasure with personal effects from local survivors and liberators. Stopped in to the museum today and took the guided tour. The docent, Herbert, was excellent, and despite the relatively small size of the museum, the contents were exceptional. Whether you have a sense of history or not, you will remember this moving and emotional visit for a long time

She was very knowledgeable about this time in history. Having a teaching background was a huge advantage as she was very good at presenting the facts and making "learning" interesting.... 更多
