We didn't enjoy this beach, it was tiny, sand was wet (apparently from some work done in the morning) and there were a lot of bugs!! There were a few amenities (cafe, restrooms, water bike for rental) Parking is $8 and it is also good for the South Marco Beach parking. Although you can access the other beach by walking.
Worth the trip if you have never been. Be prepared for the walk to the beach, and either have a beach cart or go light. Best place on Marco to hunt shells, especially a day or two after a storm. We saw small tide pools with starfish, conch, sea urchin and so many sand dollars!! A great experience for young... 更多
Just as all the photos show - flour like sand, stunning coloured crystal clear water. Absolutely stunning. There is a lake which you can wade across to the beach, or walk around. Plenty of water sports to enjoy - equipment can be hired by the hour. Bonus for us was a viewing platform to enable you to be at eye... 更多
If you are hesitant about visiting this beach after reading the reviews, don't worry! The walk across the lagoon only takes a minute. The entire walk from the parking lot is probably 5 minutes. We were so pleased with the beautiful location and the wonderfully shelling. This would have to be one of our favorite beaches in Florida. Don't miss... 更多
We have the opportunity of renting a condo directly beside this beach. Although Tigertail is a small beach itself, it joins on to Crescent Beach. This gives you miles of beach to walk and shell.
First visit and we were told to park at the last lot as to not have to walk around the lagoon. Took their advice. Fought with the "Parking machine" and still wasn't sure if I would get a violation when we got back. We grabbed our chairs and beach bag and began the 1/2 -3/4 mile trek to the water.... 更多
Tiger tail is a nice natural beach, but if you want to see the ocean, you must wade through a shallow inlet or walk around a curve to get in front of the natural grassy area. There is a coffee shop. Not most picturesque for sun bathing.
Tigertail is a must see beach in Marco Island. It's really fun to walk through the lagoon to the beach on the Gulf. The small beach is secluded and really beautiful.
