kids, 5 and 9, both find a lot to do here. The museum is more expansive than it appears. The butterfly collections are awesome. The museum is free, with additional entrance fees for the butterfly garden and special exhibits. Definitely worth a visit.
Took my daughter, her boyfriend and my grandson and we all had a good time, also saw the special exhibit called Wicked Plants which runs through Jan15th and we also enjoyed that part of the exhibits, it was for Florida a colder day with a high of 49 so it was a great way to do several things in comfort.... 更多
the day we went parking was free. we went to see the Butterflies and the museum was a great addition to see, the exhibits were very informative and if you have children a must see and do.even us adults find it informative.
We came for the "Wicket Plants" exhibit and were impressed by the creativity of this exhibit. There was a lot of information presented in a really unique format. We tend to come up from Tampa about once a year for a special exhibit. The regular museum and butterfly aviary are also really good.

The museum is free but it's confusing because they sell tickets to the main attractions but you can simply walk to the right or left of the ticket counter and enjoy the rest of the museum (they have the pay section roped off with an attendant there to check... 更多
This museum is very well laid out with well explained exhibits that provide a lot of history and context on the subjects. The new Poison exhibit was very fun and unique - I thoroughly enjoyed the hands on aspects of it. The Butterfly Rainforest is always lovely to see as well with its beautiful garden and very active butterflies.
This museum is amazing for a small town. There are a lot of things you can learn there...they have a huge diversity of animals. It takes about one hour or more to see everything.
