The city has done a marvelous job of redecorating this area. The street is beautiful, the buildings are historic and the bike trail is amazing. But if I'm afraid to go there by myself, then the city failed its citizens. I went to ride down the bike trail and every ten feet was a bum trying to talk to me.... 更多
We spend several months per year in a nearby town. While we are in the area we always make a point of walking down Beach Street. There is a variety of interesting shops and restaurants, and a teriffic Irish pub that has traditional Irish music on Friday nights.
Beach Street is a sleepy, welcoming place. The businesses on the street are pleasant and homey. I love Beach Street with its rocking chairs and flowers with a view of the river. And it comes alive when the art shows are held.
Beach Street is a nice place for a walk as well as an opportunity to see the local sights and have some great meals. Beach Street is an easy walk from Halifax Harbor Marina.
Very disappointing, we arrived at 503 and they wouldn't let us in because there are no admissions after 5, even though they are open until 6. Take a drive and you will be sure to find what your looking for. Tons of shops and places to eat. But watch out for bums. They are on just about every corner.
We even took some funny pics with the models in the widows (cut outs ) we bought a few things and seen some pretty neat stuff . nice walk
