If you want a great day out at a quiet interesting beach this is the place. We usually take some chairs, a sun shade and sit and watch the ocean and the fishermen on the beach and in fishing boats. My husband and I are on vacation staying in Punta Gorda. We visited Fort Meyers beach once and have been to the beaches in Boca Grande 4 times. The water is much bluer, there are far less people, and we have never had difficulty finding a parking space.

Always in season. Lovely beach--about 8 miles long. Good for shell seeking, little and big sandpipers, pelicans. Also good for surf casting.

Beautiful tranquil location with emerald green water and not to crowded. It can be somewhat difficult to access as there is a cement wall buffer without a lot of direct beach access without navigating this wall to get to the water.
