Rehoboth does a nice job of maintaining their beaches. Expect crowds during high summer and difficulty parking-- there aren't many public parking spots available compared to demand. If you want to get away from the crowds, walk several blocks away from the main avenue. Otherwise, be prepared to be packed in.
The town is very unusual with older buildings and a lot of newer ones - reflecting its history as a 19th century revival destination and a 20th century holiday away from the cities.......the beach is pleasant, the boardwalk fairly short but with sufficient attractions for the kids and some of sections near Spring Lake reasonably upscale. We went there for... 更多
My family has vacationed many times over the years in Rehoboth. We usually rent a place for a week. Sometimes with friends, sometime just our family, the main attraction is always the very safe, clean, family friendly beach and boardwalk. We have gone to the beach during the summer high season but also during the quiet winter season. It is... 更多
Rehoboth Beach is family and gay freindly. A laid back vibe with the largest boardwalk for Deleware Beaches. The only issue I have had recently and in past was parking. If your not staying in walking distance. Concider the shuttle or other options. Parking is rediculous. I had a fellow human threaten to hit me because he was standing in... 更多
Even when it's 36 degrees we are curious to come watch the waves rolling in. See how far the beach has moved or changed shape. Hopefully see some sea life. Free parking in the winter and some of the shops are open on weekends. The beach isn't huge but in the winter you can have it all to yourself! Free... 更多
It's a beach. Not much else to comment on. It's well kept. No animals allowed after Memorial Day - but before that it seems like it is ok to take dogs on beach.
We had never been to this area before and were pleasantly surprised to find a quaint, clean and friendly beach resort area. I recommend you go prior to July 4th when they get very busy....
Everyone goes in the winter- how about the fall when the water is warm as the air is getting cooler. Or the winter when you can listen to the waves roll in and find some terrific shells without a crowd getting there first. Or try the spring as the warm breeze comes in and read a book on the shore.... 更多
By far the best Beach in Delaware. I look forward to returning yearly. They have plenty to do for everyone, the shopping area/boardwalk is kept very clean and has lots of cool shops. There are arcades and tons of restaurants. I definitely recommend this to everyone.
