Imagine having a full orchestra in your living room. That's what an intimate performance is like at the Garde Arts Center. This little treasure might not have the acoustics of Carnegie Hall, but it has lots of heart and history. Whatever you desire from Opera, to film festivals, to Rock and Roll can be enjoyed here. Definitely stop by and... 更多
I saw The Finest Hours at the Garde, with a panel discussion about the history afterwards. There's not a bad seat in the house, the digitally revamped audio and visual systems are excellent. We went to see nut cracker while we were there. The theater was large and roomy. The seats were comfortable. The performance was great. The only negative thing was there is not enough parking, and had quite the walk to get back to the theater.
The Garde has a gorgeous lobby, unlike anything I have seen a s ornate as The Bushnell in Hartford but with a Mediteranian feel. Seeing any type of performance there is enhanced by your surroundings and by a nice lobby bar - recommend highly!

My new favorite is to see a movie at the Garde. The series they offer with Academy Award nominees is fantastic and the setting and acoustics are wonderful. You can find everything in entertainment at The... 更多

Seating is comfortable, and all seats have a decent view of the stage. In the past we've seen Wierd Al Yankovich, Arlo Guthrie, The Nutcracker Ballet, and many other performances. There is a... 更多
First time visiting the Garde Arts Center - great venue to hear music. Acoustics were fine, we liked our seats and we had a perfect view of the stage.
