We drove through the park after the Sunset. The Christmas Illumination was wonderful. The Animal shapes, Buildings were all illuminated very artistically. Worth seeing

Beautiful park, wonderfully views !! We followed the road all the way up to Craig castle and my oh my what an absolutely magnificent view!! Totally worth the hike up there. We took the blue trail down and it follows the ridge down so you get to see wonderful views all the way down.

Hubbard Park was given to the city of Meriden a very long time ago and i for one believe it has been the greatest gift ever! Many special events go on at different seasons, no charge to enjoy them and the scenery is just amazing, hiking trails abound with breath-taking views! One of the most beautiful places to hike in the state. Hike along a mountain ridge overlooking a majestic reservoir with a wooded Island to a castle tower. Plenty of space in the more developed portion of the park for picnicking.
