I have been to the Cathedral for many events and always find something interesting about it that I did not see or know before. A treasure of Hartford, the midnight Mass on Christmas should not be missed!
The Cathedral is a must see for all those of faith. The stained glass windows, lovely organ and general feel is fantastic. You will come away feeling peaceful and refreshed.
We were lucky enough to attend Mass at the Cathedral during a recent stay. The windows alone were worth the trip. The congregation is a mix of ethnicities and races. Although the space is large, the warmth of the people fills this magnificent place, as does the pipe organ and song.

The stained glass was designed in the 60s after a fire destroyed the original cathedral. The designs are so different and unique it's incredible. The church is expansive and the light is amazing with all the stained glass natural... 更多

The cement was I believe an overreaction to the tinderbox nature of the old cathedral which burned for quite some time and injuring ten... 更多
This is a beautiful spot. I was confirmed there- there is plenty of space and it's gorgeous - from the pews, to the windows, to the alter. Outside is very nice too - modern. Enjoy a visit!
