This is a terrific park for a variety of reasons and good for all ages. The park itself is about 1,000 acres and includes waterfalls. People visit the park for many reasons including hiking, fishing, camping, bicycling, and picnicking. The park is suitable for all adults, children, and is pet friendly. (Many people come with their dogs so you may... 更多
The sun was out and snow melting... great rush of the waterfalls.. but be prepared with hiking boots and much reccommended hiking sticks. We went to the top of the yellow trail to the Vista trail. Expect the unexpected, lots of uphill and downhill, not for those scared of vertigos, and the need to step of rocks, tree roots, and crossing rivers,streams.... 更多

Very nice stream and waterfall which my dogs love in the summer and plenty of trails to hike on.I have never found it to be very busy .A good picnic spot

The falls themselves are beautiful. I wouldn't plan my whole day around the short hike but maybe if you are in the area, you should check it out. The best parts are all at the beginning and visible from the road. Parking is adequate.
Due to CT money issues, the State has closed this park for the season. It is a great park for swimming, camping and hiking usually. Too bad but maybe next year.
Overused by the public in some areas. Walked down to the bottom of the falls on a midweek midday visit. It was very pretty but we could tell by the trash left behind that the place is overused. Park service could maybe limit access a bit more? A few signs, fewer paths? Passed some group tent camping and some folks... 更多
We went basically to see the waterfall. As other reviews said, people in the water everywhere. Now understand, this is a very small waterfall. People even had chairs set up on the rocks at the falls. People, even young kids, climbing all over the rocks. I didn't see any signs that said no swimming.however ... Anyway, I see no point... 更多
