We live near by and it gets most of the latest movies. They do not really offer any discounts for the kids. The chairs are not the most comfortable but it is just a nice little place.
Lovely old fashioned country movie theatre, with two screens, and some carefully chosen indie movies, as well as some more popular ones. So glad a place like this exists. Wish it was closer to my home.
Bantam Cinema has been around since at least the 1960s showing movies. It now has two screens and shows the non-block buster films you want to see but are often never offered at the chain movie theatres. It also shows Academy Award nominated movies. Ticket price is comparable (or less) than chain theatres. Nice snack bar, too.
If you're wondering if there's an alternative to yet another cement movie theater in a shopping mall, head for the Bantam Cinema. As soon as you enter this red wooden New England building, you'll feel that you're more in an inviting home than a one of today's typical movie theaters. It's a unique experience and a joy to add to... 更多
A great little movie theater showing two shows. Make sure you get on their email list for listings and overviews of movies being shown and upcoming. They often feature foreign films as well. And, lots of nice places to eat in Bantam.
It's not big and the parking may get sketchy when there's a popular movie but the Bantam is an area treasure. The snacks are fabulous and the service is friendly. Where else can you go to the movie a little late and have the ticket clerk give you a brief synopsis of the beginning of your movie before you head... 更多
Nice theater - small, but get there early and you will get a seat. Sometimes you can hear outdoor or next theater sounds if your movie is quiet, but overall a great experience. Like the semi self-service food and homemade cookies.
Quaint small theatre without the teenage crowd. Love that it is rural and close to home. Fresh organic popcorn and drinks available. Love the old photos in the ladies room. Movie goers are invited to review each film on the white board.
