Winter park was a fantastic place to ski. We haven't skied much and are still trying to build confidence and winter park was perfect for that. We were able to go very high up the mountain and zig zag our way down while never leaving green trails. The workers on the mountain are polite and informative. I skied with a... 更多
North Slope is the greatest. The views are ridiculous and the slopes are great. Only complaint was that there were a lot of flat areas in some parts of the mountain, but not on the North Slope. It was great, but more crowded. The powder was ridiculous and we enjoyed the tree runs and the freedom to go off the... 更多
Brilliant, absolutely amazing! Great holiday for a family, whether you're learning to ski or a pro;) So many different runs. Skiiers/Locals all very friendly. Best placed I've skied so far!
I am a little partial to Winter Park because I lived and worked there for two years. But I just returned for another trip with my family and had a great time. The area has grown and the dining has changed but it is still the same "Local" love. I have been to most other ski resorts in Colorado and... 更多
Overall, this is a great place to ski. The village is a little smaller than others (as far as number of restaurants, shops, and rental places). However the length and number of runs is not. They have a lift that takes you from the parking lot to the base. It's a fun way to start your day. My co-worker recommended... 更多
I last visited Winter Park 20 some odd years ago, and I certainly didn't remember it being as big of an area as it is. It's a little off the beaten path from the I70 corridor (about 30 miles) but it's a hidden gem to avoid some of the larger crowds at the mega mountains like Vail or Breckenridge. Nice... 更多
Besides skiing with excellent ski schools for kids and adults, there are so many other things to do! Dog sledding, snowshoeing , tubing, bowling, cinema, YMCA of the Rockies with an infinity of options to do with children. The community center has a mini water park for very little ones to teenagers. Great place for spring break with children!
My son and I love Winter Park. Excellent skiing combined with super friendly staff. Excellent restaurants and other amenities. My only negative comment would be the lack of recycling facilities.
We just returned from a week in Winter Park. We did a 3/5 day pass and enjoyed the beautiful views and no lift lines. Nobody can control the weather-as two days we were in only sweatshirts and riding on slush. Our last day we were in jackets and riding on fresh powder mixed with slush ( which is tough stuff).... 更多
This is a great ski resort for families! There is plenty of different terrain for all abilities. Most of the trails will eventually end in about 3 different areas, so it's not too spread out. There are very helpful volunteers standing around with "Information" signs who are happy to help you with any questions you have. There are also an... 更多
Everyone is very friendly and the slopes were not crowded. We were there end of March/beginning of April so spring was setting in -- snow was icy and slushy lower down the mountain. But the views from the top were awesome and we all loved it. Will be back.
this was our first time skiing in CO. We called in advance and asked how the conditions were before spending 425 with lifts and rentals. The gentleman on the phone said the conditions were great. Upon arrival the trails were ice. At 1:00pm someone accidentally took my husband's skis and we lost 3 hours of ski time. Unfortunately there was... 更多
We traveled to Winter Park resort with our 3 kids and two other families. A total of 16. Overall we had a mix of skiers ability levels and were able to find something for everyone. The kids mostly did kids ski school. The price was reasonable and all had a great time. For the non skiers they found snowshoe tours, snowmobile... 更多
Our favorite places to ski were the Parsenn Bowl and Vasquez Ridge. Get over to either of these places to avoid the big crowds and really feel as if you're in the mountains. They have some easy intermediate runs and are well worth the catwalk over.
