We stopped in Vail for the day in late May. It is an absolutely gorgeous town! I was worried it would be unaffordable for us to shop or eat there, but they have a nice range of stores and restaurants for all income levels. I thought everyone was so nice and friendly. I loved walking the streets without any traffic,... 更多
We're here every year for Oktoberfest and EVERY year it is so fun! The town is charming and there is so much to take in and do! Walking or biking along the Gore, take the gondola to the top for fun at Adventure Ridge or for lunch, shopping...EATING...all kinds of fun!
Went to Vail for the day - we were told there was a great farmer's market on Saturdays, well it is actually on Sundays! Still we had a good time wondering around the shops and restaurants in this very overpriced area. You can find deals if you look really hard!
We love visiting Vail...since I am from Bavaria it reminds me so much of home and yet it's Colorado...just beautiful and something to do all day and every day...GO VISiT
Vail Valley is an experience in itself. Don't expect anything like you will find anywhere else in the US. This is as close to Europe as you'll get on home turf. The village is only accessible on foot although there is plenty of free parking available in summer. It is just a pleasure walking around and exploring what is around... 更多
We went to vail village after couple of days of hiking in and around Aspen during 3rd week of july. So, it was a different experience to walk around the shops, hotels and restaurants. Vail Valley is an imitation of a Swiss town, there is also a water stream going through the middle of the valley, where kids can play.... 更多
Stopping in Vail is a must. This is a great place to visit and you don't have to be a skier but it helps of you like the winter season. Great shops and eateries. We were lucky as parking was free.
This manufactured, artificial "village" is not of Colorado. The faux "European" architecture, like everything else here, is a flight of someone's imagination that is true to no aesthetic or historical tradition. The "village" sanitizes and cannibalizes the beautiful setting of Gore Creek, making it into a shopping destination. It's an incredible turn off for anyone who values the natural beauty... 更多
I was SO lucky! March 31st: 9 inches fresh snow and no crowds. April 1st: slightly overcast and no crowds. April 2nd: Beautiful gorgeous, sunny, bluebird day. A little crowded, but it was a Saturday! Spring skiing is ALWAYS great any time you can get it!
