If you like to ski this is an amazing winter playground. If you don't like to ski, or in the 'off winter' season the valley offers lots. Fishing is huge, along with horseback riding & hiking. Along with every other imaginable outdoor activity. It's a beautiful state, a great valley & definitely worthy of your consideration!
You feel as though you are transported to a lovely European Mountain town. Really interesting to walk around and visit good shops and restaurants.
Vail....Where the rich and famous come to play. We visited in the Summer and even then the place is still a buzz with mountain bikers and hikers up on the mountains. Family friendly, incredibly fun. Lots to do, make reservations, the best places are tough to get into. A little pre planning goes a long way towards making your time better. Thank goodness for a fantastic wife that handles these things!

This is the place to be for the days that you may not ski. Lots to do - hang out, shop, dine inside or outside, shop or visit the many art galleries. Want adventure - its here, you can snowmobile in the winter or river raft in the summer. This is a world class destination for family, business or couples.
Vail Mountain has some of the best ski runs in the world. The Village has ever amenity possible. What is best is the cleanliness of the Village and the high standard of maintenance. It is unbelievably pretty. It is also pricey

In the winter there is skiing at two premium resorts, Vail and Beaver Creek, ice skating at 4 different rinks, cross country skiing, dog sledding, 3 movie theaters and and almost infinite number of high end restaurants and hotels. In the summer... 更多
I love everything about Vail - convenience getting there from Houston, TX, their village, stores and restaurants and, of course, slopes. Will try to return every year:-))
