If you go by the bridge by the entrance to the parking garage you can access a great trail along the river. This will take you to the gardens and a really exceptional park for kids.
So I was a bit disappointed during a recent visit to the garden. I checked beforehand to be sure I could trek around on crutches with a ski injury and the site assured me the gardens were open 365 days a year and ADA accessible. We are always interested in landscapes and this garden does not disappoint. The gardens and grounds are lovely. The flora is well organized and meticulously labeled. It would be best visited in the summer months when all is in bloom. There are few winter hardy plants in the collection.
