Do make a stop here. It's a GREAT place to walk around and spend time by the river. The monument is thought provoking and a great photo spot.

So glad we stumbled upon this park while geocaching! Beautiful find! We loved the prayer stones and the story behind them, the eagle statue, the memorial to Dennis Weaver, the beautiful Russian Sage in full bloom, etc. Will come back with a picnic lunch if I'm ever in this area again!
Join the many who have put wishes with their small pile of 3 rocks around a massive and gorgeous statue of an eagle with huge wing span and beautifully balanced as if without effort.
