This is an excellent hike into a magnificent and extremely rugged river valley. The trail is well worn and gets lots of people and horse traffic each day. The scenery is second to none. You should carry lots of water during the warmer months you will need it. There are bears in the area though I have never seen one... 更多
We hiked a total of six Pagosa trails, this one is our favorite. The views of river and canyon are exceptional. You should put this hike on your first to do list.

Just beautiful, my puppies loved the long walk! It is definitely worth hiking. The trail is surrounded by mountain and the view is breath taking. This is my third time at the River Trail would highly recommend .

We did see a mountain lion cat on our way up, beautiful creature!! Trail a long the river was easy, with great vistas and flowers and wild life to be... 更多
This is one of those trails to meander along the river bank, enjoy the cliffs and rocks, take a picnic, lot's of water. Go as far as your comfortable. It's not steep and is well marked.
