Just south out of Ouray alongside US 550 (The Million Dollar Highway: originally a toll road built by mining entrepreneur Otto Mears for what was considered an outrageous sum in the day. Nowadays you'd get about a mile of Interstate built for that!) is the Uncompahgre Gorge. An absolute "must" stop is at Bear Creek Falls. A viewing platform takes... 更多
I will agree with another post, this is great as a passenger. I was driving so I wasn't able to look as much as I would have liked to. There are a few spots to stop and I recommend that. There are plenty of things to look at on the way.

For sure you don't want to... 更多

It was beautiful, with rushing water and small falls, and two bridges that make it easy to walk a loop, using both sides of the river (about 3-4 miles total. ) Explanatory sign boards are posted... 更多
