We got a day pass today and spent the day in the pools! It was wonderful to sit in the warm pools while enjoying the view of the mountains!! The extra money for the resort and spa was well spent.
Spent a week here with about 100 of my closest family members on our reunion weekend. My girlfriend and I went just for a few hours and it was incredibly relaxing. We had time to kill while the men fished and it was amazing! The staff was super helpful. The facilities are well kept and clean. Definitely include a visit to Mount Princeton in your trip to Salida.
Sitting in the river is nice. You can move rocks around to divert hot and cold water. It's bit shallow, so finding a good pillow rock is important. The locker area is not so nice, and showers don't work so well. They nickel and dime you for locker and towels. Spa side is nicer but double the price.
