Had a great time feeding the "BIG" fish in the show pond and touring the hatchery facility. Picnic tables make it an ideal place to spend great time outside with the familyQ
Our party included a 5 yr old and a 2 yr old. They loved feeding the fish and just watching the fish. Plus there is a nice nature trail with about a 1 mile hike on level ground that the kids did pretty good on. All in all a good time to spend here.
There is a small but nice information center/museum that gives the history of the hatchery. You can view the fish inside the building and outside in the holding tanks. This a fun experience if you like fish. They have different tanks with different sizes and the small pool area has large fish you can feed. We happened to be there when the fish were being fed and that was awesome as hundreds of fish jumped out of the water. We also took the one mile hike and it was... 更多
Interesting looking at the fish in the tanks. fun to feed. You can also take a trail and hike in the hills. One trail was one mile long and identified the different plants and trees, not only good exercise but also educational.

We also brought our dog. There was one worker there cleaning the pools... 更多
