We like to visit here for sunset as often as possible. The parking has always been adequate. There can be a lot of photographers there with their clients.
Interesting local park. A buffalo herd is across the road from the park. Unfortunately the park shows signs of heavy use and it is not well maintained. If that is not a concern the park has great views of the front range and a private golf course that is somewhat scenic.
Beautiful part with great views. We had family photos taken there by a professional photographer if that tells you anything.
Daniels park is easily accessible via a well maintained dirt road. For the more adventurous there are numerous rock outcroppings that provide ideal picnic spots for you and your family or a date to watch the sun set. All you have to do is pick your favorite view. For the less mobile there are also numerous picnic benches and fire... 更多
One way to get to Daniels Park is via University and turn right on Griggs, then right again on Daniels Park Road. There is a covered area where there are benches for gatherings, or you can wander down the trails to tables where you can eat and see the majestic view of the mountains and the golf course far below.... 更多
This is a must every time we go see our family. We love the views summer and winter. We usually see Buffalos and Prairie Dogs too.
It you want a place to picnic and stare at the beautiful mountains, this is the place. The park looks out at the Rockies and has plenty of hiking and picnic areas. The buffalo heard is right nearby. Great mountain biking there as well.
Beautiful views overlooking a private golf course. You even get to see animals roaming around. It is very peaceful and quiet. It started raining on us while we were there but quickly subsided and then we had the place to ourselves. Definitely recommend on a nice day and bring a picnic!
