My wife is a quilter and we stop a quilt stores and Museums when we travel. The Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum is very nice and worth the stop. Check their web site I heard they may be moving to a larger location.
My husband's mother and grandmother were quilters and I have learned how to sew very simple quilts. This collection blew us away. Some of the quilts are almost 200 yrs old and still so beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful and very informative. Great place to visit.
Nice, small and friendly museum. Friendly and knowledgeable docents. Really what you expect from a home-town quilt museum. There is also a nice quilt shop across the street.
Very nice greeter, knowledgeable about the exhibit. Today's exhibit was from Australia. Beautiful exquisite work. Astounding. You can take pics of the displays, but as any art exhibit, do not touch. Browse at your leisure, there are many quilting books to look through.

Worth a visit even if the admission price is a bit high, but worthwhile if you are interested in the fabric arts. A neat gift store too!
We visited last week and were impressed with the quality of the quilts. However, it is just a display of one woman's quilts, not a museum about quilting. We were disappointed. Should be called a gallery.
A small museum, which I would characterize as a gallery. The staff were friendly and knowledgable. There was a surprising variety of styles of quilt top patterns displayed. Traditional blocks and piecing as well as some truely original artistic wall hangings.
