While I am not religious in any way, I am a big admirer of stained glass. It is definitely worth a trip to admire the architecture of the building and the great stained glass windows.
Walk up to it doors were locked. Alot of homeless people in the area, 2 of them walked up to me scary. Don't go alone especially women. The building from outside really didn't look like a church. The church has benches outside.
Oh my what an experience this was as part of our convention. The volunteers were so kind and helpful as they passed out bulletins and directed folks around the huge space. I found the Cathedral on the Worldwide Labyrinth locator. When I went to the office I was greeted warmly and on the way to the labyrinth across the street I was allowed to spend some time inside this numinous jewel box. The windows are among the finest I have seen and this treasure rivals the great medieval cathedrals of Europe.... 更多
