Too bad you cannot really enjoy walking 16th Street without the almost constant barrage of people begging directly or seeing those begging with signs at what seems like every hundred feet. However, there are some nice restaurants, shops, bars and even a movie complex along the way. You can even take in a game of street chess if you dare.... 更多
Not sure what all the hype is about 16th Street Mall. Yes, it is pedestrian only (except for the city buses which zip up and down the street and are a big safety hazard if you're not careful!) and the city bus is free. However, the street is devoid of any interesting stores and decent places to eat. It is... 更多
It was raining the whole weekend when we were in Denver, but we still enjoyed this outdoor mall/shopping. There are great restaurants and bars as well. Loved the fact that you could jump on the tram to get from one end to the other. Would love to come back when it isn't raining, but still had a great time shopping... 更多
We arrived by light train from Greenwood Village . The free bus was few steps from the train and it took us along the 16th Street Mall. There are many stops along the street so you do not need to walk long way. Many shops and restaurants and very good atmosphere. During winter time there is Ice skating area to... 更多
If you are in Denver, you need to check out the 16th Mall which is an outside mall with tons of shops and restaurants to choose from. There is tons of interesting characters on this street. Great place to watch people. I would avoid 16th Mall late at night because there is some scary characters on street. This place seems... 更多
We had breakfast in the Corner Bakery Cafe- good food and service, and also visited Marlowe's restaurant couple of times for dinner. Good menu - my husband loved the shrimps! Definitely recommend both of these. Visited Jerri's - the wine and cigar store as needed advice about purchasing special bottle of wine. Very informed gentleman guided us to the right... 更多
This area was fun, welcoming and entertaining. The were a vast array of shopping and eating establishments. The homeless people were helpful for the most part. Easy to use parking. Free mall trolley, clean side walks thanks to cleaning team. Great workout and lively area!
A great place to stroll, shop, and do sight-seeing! I love the free ride too around the area. the place seems to be safe too. Definitely worth checking out when you visit downtown Denver.
16th Street is a must see while in a Denver. Lots of shops and restaurants, and on a sunny day (we were in a Denver for the week and in rained the first three days) lots of people. There is also a free bus, that runs the length of 16th Street if you choose not to walk. We were on... 更多
Worth checking out in you find yourself in downtown Denver. Lot's of choices for shops and restaurants and still growing. Do not be afraid to venture a block or two off when your in Lower Downtown, there are even more choices!
Such a fun place...and free transport up and down the mall. We took the Skyride from the airport--only $11 vs. $65 for a cab, and it took us right to Union Station where we jumped on the free Mall shuttle to head down the Mall. Restaurants, theaters, and cultural and government buildings are all within quick walking distance off the... 更多
This outdoor mall is great to walk down when you have a bit of time - stores range from typical chain stores to independent merchants with tons of restaurants and bars.
This is a great place to do some people watching and see some street performers. I always enjoy walking around with the family and just doing some shopping.
The streets were dirty. Groups of homeless clogged the streets. We were asked for money on each conner. This street gives Denver a bad name especially with all the hotels in the area.
