Visited during the 40 Years Of Cadillac display and was really impressed with all the beautiful cars presented. And the trains were a big hit with our three year old son - as was the Model T automobile you can sit in. The clerks at the counter were really nice, and the entire property is clean and very well cared... 更多
We wanted to see the museum and since it was raining we went to kill some time. We were so happy there! Great assortment of cars, trains, and motorcycles to see. Something for everyone. Not expensive at all either. Mark, a volunteer, was amazing. He saw us and started talking to us about some of the cars and gave us... 更多
We needed something to kill a couple of hours as it was pouring so checked Trip Advisor. This place is lovely, looked after with great care and affection and the exhibits are beautiful. The cars for instance are so wonderfully renovated or in some cases in their original condition - unbelievably well preserved. Also carriages, motorcycles too. Great little museum.... 更多
This is an auto museum on steroids! Great cars, beautifully presented, as well as motorbikes, pushbikes AND huge steam trains and carriages - all under one roof! Scattered throughout were also wax dummies dressed in original period clothing.
I spent the better part of 3.5 hours at the Forney Transportation Museum. It had been many years since I last visited. Good selection of antique and classic cars. Also a great selection of motorcycles, and the locomotives and railway cars are good. I was no overly impressed with the gift shop. The museum is located in a light industrial... 更多
Our family was in Denver and needed a place to visit in the morning hours that was inside. This museum was the perfect place. The types of transportation in this museum was amazing. We have been to lots of museums with cars and motorcycles, but this went beyond that. The wide variety of bicycles was wonderful! The history of the... 更多
If you have a interest in antique cars, motorcycles, and even railroads, you will really like the Forney Transportation Museum. Their collection of vehicles is very impressive, and quite a bit larger than expected. So, take a camera and be prepared to spend several hours enjoying a nostalgic look into the past. The people that contributed their vehicles for display... 更多
Beautifully restored and original rare cars. I am a car guy and have been to many collections but have never seen some of the makes they have here such as Kissels, Jewitts, plus they have 25 or so 50's Chrysler products. They also have the largest steam locomotive ever built and it is huge. For less than $10 bucks to... 更多
The collection here is really quite eclectic My son and I loved it. A very rare locomotive was my favorite. He loved the very extensive collection of bicycles. The museum also features a very unusual collection of cars, mostly American, and motorcycles. We had a couple of a very interesting hours there. And it is not too expensive!
When we visited the Forney Museum we had no idea what to expect, but we were delighted to find some very distinct and impressive vehicles. The Big Boy was truly beyond belief in scope and size! I was particularly impressed that Amelia Earhart's "Yellow Peril" is housed there. We were also impressed by the curator's help and passion for her... 更多
Interested in vintage car, trains, motorcycles, bicycles, trucks and some wagons, then this is your place. Display is interesting with many details about each item. Great display of early 1900s auto with numerous makes people have never heard about today. Get to walk around locomotives and other trains and you really realize how big they are. Apparently Mr. Forney built... 更多
Located downtown, near the old Denver Coliseum, the Forney Transportation Museum houses a very nice collection of American made cars from the 1950's, 60's and 70's. They also have a nice train collection, including 4-8-8-4 Big Boy. The volunteers that run this museum are very nice and helpful, but have very little tolerance for stupid people.
