Cost - donation. The day that we visited I didn't get the feel that this was a 'living history museum'. I usually associate living history with dressed up tour guides, or re-enactors that you can observe doing things that were done in the time periods that the museum represents - cooking on a wood stove, making horse shoes etc. So... 更多
The Wyman Museum is a great look back into the history of the old west and Craig Colorado. They have a live bull elk, an authentic old western general store and many insights into life in rural America in the late 19th century and early 29th century
I was lucky enough to get a tour from the owner himself. His enthusiasm was infectious. I am a museum director and understand that some things are not being done utilizing best practices in our industry. However, I appreciated the experience.

This is the kind of museum we love. Very few velvet ropes to keep you away from the exhibits. Many times grandma remembers using the utensils at Great Grandma's house.
