What a beautiful place! My family and I visited Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge to get some sightings at animals! We were very pleased with the outcome! The wildlife refuge is TEEMING with Prairie Dogs, Mule Deer, rabbits, and birds! We were very lucky to get to see some bison too! We even spotted a Great Horned Owl! Behind... 更多
Nice information/guest center with displays and a cool ferret exhibit but we drove the whole place and saw ZERO animals besides birds/butterflies. They have 15000 acres and have been open for a long time so I don't know where their budget is going.... they don't even have many Plants. My family was very disappointed.
We stopped here to burn time before returning to Denver Airport. The nature building is new and nice with educational exhibits kind of cool for adults but boring for small children. The 9 mile nature drive is mediocre. We did see one bison and at least a million prairie dogs. This is a free exhibit which is nice but does... 更多

This is a wonderful place in Denver as it offers a place for animals to flourish unharmed. We saw bison from afar, several varieties of birds, fish, prairie dogs and a snake (dead in the road). Great place to do small or longer walks along the ponds/lakes.
Just returned from Yellowstone, we weren't too thrilled by this place. We saw two deers, a rabbit and a bunch of Black-tailed Prairie Dogs. Admission is free.
We weren't impressed, we only saw prairie dogs and 2 bison. It was a peaceful area in the heart of the city, but just didn't have the wildlife I expected to see. Maybe on a different day the animals would be more prevalent.
