We stayed for 1 night and that was enough. Where to start…….the rooms are sorely in need of an update. The outside of the buildings need maintenance. The hot springs pools really need to be worked over, badly. It looks like the owners have taken every dime they have made and put it someplace other than here. The free buffet... 更多
If you are looking for a place to swim, get rowdy, get into a stream, picnic with your loud and boisterous kids, this is not the place. If you are looking to unplug, soak, unwind, be calm, then you may have found the place. It is rustic, and simple. Still, there are five different pools to soak in (different temps),... 更多
We were heading home after a trip that included an outside music festival in Trinidad, a lovely drive through the mountains next to the Spanish Peaks, and a few afternoon hours at the Great Sand Dunes National Monument and Preserve and headed towards Buena Vista. We passed several hot springs locations, but wanted to try the Cottonwood Hot Springs, after... 更多
We had to do a two day minimum and now we understand why. No TV or Internet and we asked why this was and they said it was by design (we feel that they didn't want to spend anymore money on the motel then they need to). The pools where very dirty and not very hot at all. The restrooms... 更多
Clean, well maintained, friendly staff.I live about 45 minutes Warburg try and go a couple of times a month. Massage Therapists, sauna, and 5 pools. Cabins or rooms in addition to soaking
We drove 40 minutes to enjoy the Hot Spring Pools at Cottonwood after being outdoors all day on a zip line. It was relaxing, clean, rustic, and friendly. The temperatures were great and we loved viewing the stars. The mineral water had no smell, unlike some hit springs we have visited. Changing rooms were nice with showers and toilets.
This place is quirky. The hotel and parking lot look a little rough, but don't be deterred. While the hot springs area exactly fancy, the pools are relaxing. Clientele was mostly 20/30-somethings, with a few elderly and one other family. The surrounding vegetation is nice, and the setting on the river is scenic, but the pools are slightly worn, and... 更多
We just went for the day. They had 5 pools, a couple had a sun cover to keep you from getting to much sun. They don't let you wear sunscreen ( except for your face). It was pretty nice.
We went about 10:30 with kids and it was very cool. Numerous pools with varying temperatures, nice people and just a great experience overall. The place is very close to Buena Vista so if you're staying there you could go and return as you get a wristband. Clean, relaxed and worth the money. We'll go back.
awesome setup with hot springs. The tent sites available were really small and one was full of puddles. so it you want to stay there, not in the tent section. its a real "granola"kind of place
