OK Boulder really is an exceptional place. The Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra over the years has provided exciting and satisfying performances often featuring world-renowned stars. Tonight the program consisted of a playful Ravel, a stunning Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto #2, a world premiere of The Storyteller composed by Korine Fujiwara and commissioned by violinist Charles Wetherbee who soloed, and finale an encore...
We were surprised when we moved here that the quality of the Boulder Phil was so
high. It rivals orchestras in cities 10 times the size. The venue of Mackey Auditorium
is excellent, with exceptional acoustics. For parking, would suggest the North side
if you get there early enough, or in the Euclid structure, an easy 5-10 minute walk.
