we are annual member of here. The garden is so beautiful and offers the unique and memorable desert garden look. It has so many different types of desert plants and flowers. And it's dog friendly.
This one-time 400 acre walnut and pear farm has an interesting history. This is explained and described in the brochure that you will receive after paying the modest admission fee. This 3 acre garden has a terrific collection of cacti and succulents. And, a number of one-of-a-kind (in the garden) interesting trees. They have a huge nursery shop for the... 更多
Ruth Bancroft has created a huge succulent garden that is open to the public. Take a guided tour with a docent. Great place for adults and children. Oh, yes and Ruth is over 100 years old and lives in the big house on the property!
If you have an interest in succulents or cacti, you'll greatly enjoy the gardens. We took the 11am free docent tour and our docent was a fountain of knowledge about the plants and the history of the garden. While the gardens do provide you with a map and color coding information about species so you can move about on your... 更多
Recently visited on a Friday night that offered a BBQ Buffet, live music and the almost enjoyable stroll through the garden. The garden alone is worth a visit and on days when there are special events it enhances the experience.

Mrs. Bancroft lives in an old mansion on the grounds. The house is private, but is fun to look... 更多
This small succulent garden, located in Walnut Creek is very nicely maintained and the people (volunteers?) are friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my walk and also sat in the shade and enjoyed the serenity of the day. About an hour to walk the trail with time to stop and take photos or sit for a while in the shade.... 更多

The variety of succulents were great but the map was too confusing to follow. It would have been better to have each exhibit labelled. The only label I saw was... 更多

You get to see full size plants and trees so you know how big the plants in small containers will grow into. They have done extensive work on the garden since the last time I visited. It is clean... 更多
