This place is worth to visit, free of charge as well. We went to there on a rainy morning, the trail was muddy and wet but we experienced such a great feeling. The road from Ukiah is narrow and hilly, drive careful but the views are nice. After this place, you can continue onto Medocino, another place need to visit.
The Drive-in tree is a good attraction for the people visiting Ukiah. No tourist misses to take a few photos with the vehicle they travel inside the bottom of the tree. The natural environment provided by the Redwood trees is very great.

We took several trails to see the trees. It is hard to believe how big around they are. This is a MUST see if you are in the area.

Parking is limited, but adequate. I have never run into a crowd. Once you make it up the first hill you are in an enchanted setting with plenty... 更多
Take snacks, you will NOT want to leave. the trees are magnificent. Take a short walk down any trail to lose sight of the road, and sit down...Renew your spirit here.
I love the redwoods & have visited many, many groves. Add to it, my wife & I accidentally took this road almost 35 years ago, before it was even paved. The road is in better condition west of the Reserve than east, but both are slow and often very narrow. But now paved. Previous reviewers have lamented the conditions of... 更多
