The ferry is easily accessed from Main Street in Tiburon. The seating is comfortable with great views of the area The Golden Gate Bridge, Oakland Bridge, Alcatraz and Angel Island. It took about 15 minutes. You purchase tickets before boarding. There are several restaurants and shops nearby to enjoy while you wait.
Maggie (the owner and often the boat captain) and her family will treat you to a wonderful ride from idyllic Tiburon to Angel Island. It's a short trip, but the views (with occasional wildlife sightings) are great. Bring the family and a picnic (and your bikes) and spend the day. There's very little line, lots of parking, plenty of place to sit on the ferry especially on top, and while it's a short trip from Angel Island and back, it's a lovely view the entire way with little boat traffic.
Boat ride to Angel island. Great views and Historic buildings. See the Golden Gate Bridge.and Tiburon and San Francisco skyline. Take the tram ride. Our driver and guide was Greg. He was excellent and made the tour fun.
For $15 Round-trip, including park admission, this is a service that is hard to beat. Just remember to bring cash - no credit/debit cards. Also, the nearby parking lot only takes cash as well. Enjoy the views!

(about 5 miles total) Almost every turn brings a new vista - the Golden Gate Bridge, Marin, skyline of San Francisco , Belvedere, Alcatraz.......really spectacular. Almost no one on the trails despite a full ferry and... 更多
